It's 2011 and a few changes have been made to the website.

Featured section
A new section has been added to the front page called 'Featured'. This provides links to the top four games.

Games pages updates
The games pages have been updated so that it is much easier for us to add new games and modify existing ones. There is also a shiny new screenshot slideshow system in place, which you can check out here.

Music pages
The music pages have also been updated, with working links and better integration with the games pages. The Core Theme has also been added to the list.

Other updates
The community area and the news system have also been updated so that they are easier to modify.

New poll
The second poll has been posted. If you want to go and vote for the next sequel, head over there now or vote using the sidebar on the right.

New skin
We have added another skin to use on the website. You can go test it out by clicking here, or browse through the skins gallery.

Windows 7 Theme
If you want to try out the new Ideaz wallpapers on Windows 7, download this themepack. It contains 10 original Ideaz-themed wallpapers, as well as some familiar sounds for your system.

In other news, Core (which we released in August 2010) made it to the final round in the sixth YoYo Games competition. It was among the 15 finalists which were chosen from 276 entries, and it currently has over 3000 plays on YoYo Games' website, averaging at 200 per week. YoYo Games is also currently developing a games store which will eventually make it possible to play Core on iOS, Android, PSP and other systems, so look out for a possible sequel in the future.

First of all, a new game has been added: Core.

It is another casual platform game, but instead of moving sideways your aim is to get to the bottom of each level, in order to reach the core. There are 36 levels to complete, plenty of secrets to unlock and bonus levels to find. You also have the option to save replays of levels you have completed, so head over to the Core page to download it now.

Core was designed for PSP as well as PC, because it is an entry in the sixth YoYo Games Competition. To support it and possibly make it available on PSP, see Core's game page on YoYo Games.

Finally, in the games section the download links system has been updated, meaning that it should now be easier for us to replace broken links.

A new game has been added to the games section: Enyjia.

It's a platform exploration game set on a distant planet, with hundreds of different areas and sector types. There are also many powerups and hidden secrets to be found, so download it now by clicking here.

There are also some problems with the music section; the file host seems to have stopped working, but this problem will be fixed in the next few days. Please be patient, and in the meantime, support Enyjia.

Here is the latest installment of Ideaz.org.uk. We started in February 07 with very little content and a website limited to IE, but what you're seeing now is version 5, which was uploaded in January 2010.

New features include a drop-down navigation bar, a cleaner layout, a sidebar with various parts, software/music pages and a better community area. If you want to, take a look at the timeline to see the dates of games releases and screenshots of site redesigns.

The new systems will make it easier for us to update the website more often, so hopefully you'll be seeing news posts appear more frequently. There are several new games coming 'soon', but for now head over to the games pages to check out the new features.

So, have a look around and register as a member if you want to, and remember that feedback is appreciated.
